College Curriculum
Key Stage 3 is covered in two academic years and for 2011 – 2013 will look like this for Years 7 and 8:

During Year 8, pupils make their GCSE option choices and Key Stage 4 begins at the start of Year 9. Most GCSE courses will be completed over three years, and some in two years with extension courses to follow. The compression of Key Stage 3 allows a much richer curriculum to be offered to our students in Key Stage 4.
We are committed to offering a balanced and broad curriculum. Pupils are able to choose three of their subjects in Key Stage 4 as well as being given the time to succeed in core subject areas. The current Key Stage 4 curriculum is illustrated below.
