What is the SIMs Learning Gateway?

The SIMs Learning Gateway (SLG) offers parents the chance to access information securely about their son or daughter. This can include attendance, achievement and behaviour information for that particular student.

We have launched access to the SLG from October 2011, although initially this access is available only to parents of new Year 7 students. To start with the information available is limited to Attendance information. Over the coming months more content will be added and access will be extended to the rest of the College.

Individual Usernames and Passwords have been issued to parents to enable access.

The information and documents below are provided to offer help and support in accessing and navigating the features of the SLG. Also included is the policy which all Parents must first agree to prior to receiving access to the SLG.

Technical Support

The SLG is still in its early stages, so may experience minor problems from time to time. During the first few months of use the College will be adding more content and users and testing various aspects of the SLG. From time to time it may be necessary to temporarily limit access to the SLG when these changes are being made, but every effort will be made to notify users in advance.
