Robertsbridge to join Aquinas Schools Trust
Statement from Chair of the Interim Executive Board:
Following a decision on the 17 October by the Department for Education’s Regional Director, Dame Kate Dethridge, Robertsbridge Community College will join the Aquinas Trust. This is excellent news for the school. The trust has played a crucial role this year after being commissioned to support the school. A range of trust staff have been working alongside colleagues at Robertsbridge CC. The impact has been very clear in the much-improved examination results achieved in the summer. We look forward to these improvements as the process takes place for the school to formally join the trust.

We are delighted to be welcoming Robertsbridge Community College into the Aquinas Trust. This decision allows us to continue the work we have started; build on the relationships we have made in school and deliver the necessary improvements students deserve. By working together, much has already been achieved and we are determined this will continue.
We are a close-knit family of schools that serve a diverse range of communities; however we are all focused on delivering ‘life transforming learning’ for all children and young people in our care.
