How to make contact as a parent
Parents wishing to contact the college regarding their children are requested where possible, to follow the protocol as given below. By so doing you will hopefully avoid repetition and delays in getting answers to any concerns you may have.
For concerns regarding lessons/homework, teaching/learning issues, please contact the subject teacher in the first instance.
For concerns regarding pastoral matters or behaviour, please in the first instance contact the form tutor.
There are three main ways of contacting either of the above:
- by using the child’s planner, which is looked at regularly by staff
- by sending an email directly to the class teacher, form tutor or Head of Year. Email addresses can be found on the staff lists page of our website
- you can contact us by phone and leave a message which will be passed on to the member of staff
For any general enquires, reporting attendance, IT support, transport, finance of safeguarding, please see the document here for the correct email address and phone number to use.
In most instances all matters can be addressed at this initial level. However if you wish the matter to be pursued further, or if the member of staff feels that it needs dealing with by a higher authority, there are two paths that will be followed, as shown below.
